Ashley Oswald, RDN, IFNCP, CNSC, LD

Registered Dietitian Nutritionist

Ashley is a registered and licensed dietitian with advanced training in functional nutrition through the Integrative and Functional Nutrition Academy. She received her nutrition degree from the University of Minnesota, graduated from Harvard’s Brigham and Women’s Hospital’s dietetic internship, and has completed additional education to become a Certified Nutrition Support Clinician.

Ashley helps clients figure out what the root causes of their symptoms could be and works with them navigate how to improve health using real food, quality supplements and lifestyle approaches. She enjoys sharing her knowledge and has created a hospital-based 12-week nutrition program for employees, which continues to be offered today. Part of her career was spent in California, where she worked with patients with severe intestinal diseases help re-gain function of their gut, while calculating intravenous nutrition therapies to supplement what their guts were unable to absorb. She also worked at a functional medicine clinic, where she was a part of a care team that was able to help clients improve and reverse chronic diseases such as Diabetes, Cardiovascular Disease, and Irritable Bowel Syndrome. 

These professional experiences have provided Ashley with a well-rounded understanding of how disease is treated in the current healthcare system, and where there is room for improvement in increasing access to preventative care knowledge and Food as Medicine approaches. She herself has struggled with chronic disease and has experienced first-hand the healing power of real food, quality supplements and lifestyle approaches. Ashley’s ultimate goal is to help empower others with the knowledge and tools needed to take charge of their own health, allowing them to feel better and in return rely less on the medical system.
